What is the best way to use an on-line test preparation program?
This is a no-stress way for students to assess their preparedness for high-stakes tests and to learn the types of questions that will be asked on the exam. Many will see that they are already prepared for the test and need no further practice. However there will be a large percentage of students that will learn that they do indeed need to be better prepared. Repeated practice, where an effort is made to increase accuracy and speed will produce real learning and enhance the probability of success. Teachers should use the data to determine what subjects the class and individuals can benefit from most. Since the tests are specific to state standards, it should be easy to diagnose common or specific deficiencies and develop lesson plan to strengthen the students knowledge in these areas. Administrators can use the data to diagnose common strengths and weaknesses and use this information to adjust curricula or instruction to maximum advantage.
