Another international airport is expected to open in Playa Blanca, Panama in 2008. Panama’s gateway cities in the United States are Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, Raleigh-Durham and Orlando. The busiest flight is Miami-Panama City, which takes just under three hours.
