What is the best way to travel from Utrecht to Rouen by train?
Unfortunately, Rouen is not the easiest place to get to, especially from Utrecht. According to the Rouen Airport’s website at http://www.rouen.aeroport.fr/us/ there is no direct flight from Utrecht, so you would need to be switching flights, likely in either Lille or Dusseldorf. By train it is not easy either as multiple changes are required. You can see what options there are by train by searching on the Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) website at http://www.bahn.com/i/view/index.shtml I did a quick search on a random day, and it looks like the fastest transportation is still about 5 hours and 20 minutes. When you search for Rouen, enter in Rouen-Rive-Droite (the official name for Gare de Rouen Rue Verte) otherwise it will give you a pretty crazy route.
