What is the best way to travel from London Victoria to Heathrow airport?
By the tube, take the District line to Hammersmith, change onto the Piccadilly and get off at whatever teminal you need (terminals 1,2,3 are the same stop, terminal 4 is another, and terminal 5 is another one again). Be sure to check the front of the train as it pulls into the platform to ensure that you are getting one that goes to terminal 4, if that is the terminal you require. By tube, the journey will take you about 50 minutes, and with tubes arriving every 2-3 minutes, I think it’s just about the most reliable way to get to Heathrow airport! Edit: I agree with the other answerers – travelling by road is crazy. It’s mental around Heathrow, with all the different terminals and going on the M25 is just rubbish. The train is your best bet for getting to Heathrow from central London.
