I have a detached speaker cone on the driver side and the door panel doesn’t look like its sitting flush anyway. The passenger door panel pocket is busted and I have a replacement I want to use. 1990 Volvo 740 GL sedan, blue interior. A: You need to remove the following, -Door Lock Knob -red light on the side of the panel -speaker grille -3 white clips at the bottom of the door panel -switch assembly and the trim that covers it. At that point the doorpanel should be loose and ready to be removed. Install is the reverse of removal, make sure the door panel that you have looks the same and has the same mounting as volvo changes the door panel from several years.
