What is the best way to sell a porcelain doll collection?
If you’re truly leery of using eBay then I’d suggest you try looking or checking with some collectors in your area for a local Toy Collectors Show (or something similar) so you can find what you’re looking for through them. That way you’re going to find collectors who are ready to buy one of your dolls and treasure it for years to come. But, since you’re looking to do this (meeting the customer face-to-face) instead of on-line I’d also suggest you get any information you can about the collection of figures. What’s the condition of the figure itself? Is it still MIB/MINB (Mint in Box/Mint in New Box) or was it bought from another collector? Is the manufacturer out of business or only making limited editions? Do you know if there are any books on the subject of your style of figures? Do you have any particular facts about the company & artist who made the figures you’ve collected?
