What is the best way to seal a patio that has groundcover growing in between the stones?
If they are natural stones, there is no reason to seal them. If they are manufactured from concrete, they tend to attract moss more and they also can deteriorate during winter freezing and thawing if you are in a cold climate. In that case, use the sealer sparingly so as to have minimal run-off to your plants. They will survive just fine. Put on knee pads, use a paint brush and go ahead and seal the stones. That method won’t allow enough sealer to reach the ground cover to matter.
