Normally, it shouldn’t matter, but the camera adds EXIF data to the photos. Depending on the software used, this (valuable) information gets discarded. It would appear that version 2.2 of the Canon’s ZoomBrowser discards this information, although this has been fixed up in more recent versions. I would suggest searching the Net for a good shareware solution, such as cerious software’s ThumbsPlus.
