What is the best way to request a prescription refill?
A. During your exam, your doctor will determine if a refill, or possibly a different medication may be required. To request a prescription refill when not in the office, simply call the office and select the Prescription Refill Request option. Have a pen or pencil ready as you will be prompted to give specific information, such as the name and strength of your medication and the name and telephone number of your pharmacy. Requests may be made 24 hours a day, but please allow 24 to 48 hours for the request to be processed. Also, before going to your pharmacy, please call them to ensure your prescription has been refilled.
