Its easy to get the chisel under the tile and gentle tap it out that way.that`s if it stuck with tile adhesive,if its with sand and cement it a lot more difficult,and be prepared to do some minor plastering. Who ever told you to remove the grout first is having you on………..

use a wonder bar and a hammer.drive wonder bar behind tile with hammer and pry away.best results if you locate studs and work from there.some cases will require replacing wall board also.there is no EASY way to remove tile.good luck.

tried it puled the wall down tiled over the top of them…..
