What is the best way to remove the smell of cigarette smoke from papers and files?

Since I tend to smoke furiously when absorbed in complex projects, I have developed a method for just this purpose. I honestly don’t know for sure if it removes the smell completely, but it’s what I do in an effort to be considerate of non-smokers to whom I am sending any type of paperwork. I have not recieved any complaints about the smell of smoke from anyone since I started using this method. Put the papers in a folder or an envelope with a dryer sheet for as long as possible before handing the paperwork off. If I were concerned with removing the smell of smoke from my files, I woud add dryer sheets to the folders, close the filing cabinet or box, and leave them there. Maybe someone with a smoke-sensitive nose could test this and report back on its effectiveness.
