You will need a utility knife and a straight single edge razor, like you use to remove excess paint from a window. First slice the caulk top and bottom, then remove whatever you can. Then use the single edge razor to remove whatever is left behind.

there is a chemical you can buy from the likes of B&Q I can’t remember what it is called but it dissolves the silicone and you just scrape it away, it’s not expensive and it works quickly, just ask in the shop.

Xylene is the chemical you can use to remove silicone and caulk. You can buy it at Home Depot, etc.
