What is the best way to remove semen stains from dark colored clothes?
Depends how much acid is in the semen. Yes, semen is acidic or alkaline too depending on what you eat. You can make a paste with borax powder and malt vinegar and apply it to the area. Leave on til dry and then pop into a hot wash with washing powder that contains enzymes – radiant, sards, bio zet etc, and put it through the full cycle with half a cup of malt vinegar in the rinse. Dont use white vinegar as it will act as a bleach on dark colours. If that doesnt get it out, ditch the shirt because nothing will remove it and you will spend the rest of the shirts life lying about what the stain is. If you dont want to lie about the stain then say it was toothpaste.
