The best product to use is a polishing compound. It resembles a wax with grit in it, and you apply it similar to wax. Gently rubbing it in, letting it dry, then buff with a clean cloth. There are orther compounds, with heavier grit, designed to remove, or even work down to the metal on a car’s paint job. The polishing compound, when rubbed lightly, will remove most anything too stubborn to come off with just plain water and soap. Plus, it gives the finsih a nice, deep shine afterwards.
