i tend to do this a lot at work the best thing i have use is from leyland, this is a company that uses Johnson’s products, what you want to get is mangers fungicidal wash dilute 1 part fungicidal wash to 4 parts water apply this to the area with a paint brush but make sure you wear gloves as it can burn, let this dry for 24hrs then scrap or the mould, re-treat with a second treatment let this dry 24hrs. then you want a paint called mouldstop made but Johnson this will stop the mould…… but after all this it helps to open a window to stop condensation…… or i would check the damp proof course out side if the problem keeps coming back.

I don’t know about a utility room, but I mixed up some bleach and water in a spray bottle and sprayed it on my bathroom tiles and it took it all off no problem.
