Get it wet. Bird poop picks up water pretty quickly, after ten minutes or so you will probably be able to wipe or spray it off. For porous surfaces I suggest letting it dry and simply vacuuming.

Try using a pressure hose…I have a probelm with birds being attracted to my house, so every few months I use a pressure hose on the bricks, tile roof and colourbond fence….it works well!
