As others said, start taking a good multivitamin with 100-200% the recommended allowance of folic acid. Also, get a full checkup soon – tell your doctor you’re planning on getting pregnant in a few months. They may check some other stuff they might not check otherwise. If you have any chronic health issues, or anything you’re been meaning to ask your doctor about, now is a great time. (i.e. if you have asthma or other such conditions, you will need to work with your doctor about what drugs are the least risk during pregnancy) Try to delve into any emotions about having kids. I think everyone who is realistic about having kids has at least some concerns or apprehensions. This may mean writing in a diary, talking with friends who have kids, talking with your husband, going to a therapist, or all of the above. Get into the best shape that you can.
