What is the best way to prepare a bland Diet for my Dog?
Hm. As far as severe diarrhea (and please note, I am no vet) I have been told to not feed the dog for twelve hours, then feed them three small meals a day for two days. The meal should be a mixture of cooked ground or chunky chicken, pumpkin and potatoes. As far as cooking the meat goes, I just buy ground meat for my dog (she’s a VERY picky eater) and brown it in a pan over the stove. I also like to mix in some chopped up veggies (the frozen mix bags). Then I mix it around with her dog food, add some shredded cheese, and she gobbles it right up! Good luck. I should also mention that I have heard of rice being good for a dog with diarrhea also.
