What is the best way to maintain my Custom Curbing?
• Watering the ground around the edges for the first three days will assist the curing process and help prevent cracks from developing. • Over time, calcium carbonate deposits (known as efflorescence) may form on the surface. This may cause discolorations in the concrete. Efflorescence can be removed using a solution of 1-part muriatic acid to 5-parts water. • A Curing Sealer is strongly recommended; particularly for colored concrete. This is best applied prior to the curing stage and will prevent the initial buildup of carbonate deposits.
