There is only one way to lose weight and that is to take in fewer calories than you expend. Your body burns energy and to supply that energy we eat food. Excess calories are stored in the body as fat. To get rid of fat cut down your intake (notice I didn’t tell you to cut out carbohydrates or sugars or any of that typical stuff – just cut down on everything) and keep doing exactly what you are doing now and the fat will fade away. If you want to really make a difference then do some exercising as well. Walk! Walk around the block a couple or three times during the day. After a few days, walk around two blocks two or three times. That will help develop a bit of muscle as well as getting the blood flowing – which will also help reduce weight. So there you go. A couple of simple things that will help right away – and they won’t hurt and don’t cost anything.
The best way to lose weight is to eat a healthy balanced diet incorporating food from of all of the food groups including carbohydrates, good fats and protein as well as fruit and veg in order to lose weight. You will also need to exercise doing cardiovascular exercise because this will help you burn fat.
