I think listening to music from the country while reading the lyrics is really useful. Not only will you get used to the accent but it is also a good way to learn vocabulary as you naturally want to understand the meaning of the song. Plus songs are the best way, I think, to learn some of the more colloquial expressions used in different languages. Depending on your level you could listen to the song first to try and understand the meaning before checking with the lyrics. Also, if you wish to devote the time, I think reading short stories or easy (children’s) novels. This will really help with grammar and tenses as well as vocabulary. A good book would be for example Harry Potter as you could read it in English first and then in the language of your choice (probably). It’s very easy English so is not too difficult in other languages. Hope this helps.
