What is the best way to get to the starter on a 1994 Toyota Tercel?
I am having difficulties getting to the starter thats located somewhere on the back of the engine and I really need to change it today! Someone plz help! Diagrams would be greatly appreciated! First to give detailed instructions that are helpful or a diagram gets the points! I do have basic knowledge of cars. I have worked on cars before having changed out a starter on an Olds Cutlass, as well as doing many other repair jobs on different vehicles. I have never run across one on the back of the engine and if I can get a diagram or a bit of instruction, I can do this on my own! Please someone help me! Just because I am a female doesn’t mean I don’t know how to work on a car! 1.5 liter A: Most of the time you need to have basic knowledge on how to change it. You also need the car on a hoist. I would look in the yellow pages and find a shop in your area that is open today, maybe sears. The labor should be around 100-150 dollars, good luck.
