What is the best way to get to the Mesa during construction?
Employees and Business Visitors: We strongly recommend employees to ride the NCAR Shuttle or carpool when going to the Mesa Lab during construction. Visitors coming to the Mesa Lab for UCAR/NCAR business purposes are also invited and encouraged to ride the shuttle. For the shuttle schedule, visit http://www.fin.ucar.edu/sass/transport/shuttle-cg.html. Carpooling is also strongly recommended. Visitors for Tours & Recreation: We encourage carpooling at all times, and especially during the Mesa Mile construction project. For the convenience of hikers and our employees, we recommend that hikers choose alternate access points to the Mesa Trail during business hours, when parking will be extremely tight. Please note that we are only able to allow employees and official visitors – those coming to NCAR for business purposes – on the NCAR Shuttle.
