What is the best way to get to Arusha?
There are three ways to reach Arusha: (1) Flying to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and take a shuttle to Arusha. (2) Flying to Nairobi (Kenya), from Nairobi, there are daily shuttle buses service to Arusha which takes 4-5 hours. Bookings for these shuttles can be made easily on arrival in Nairobi. You can also opt to take another flight from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and take a shuttle to Arusha. (3) Flying to Dar Es Salaam, and then continue again with a flight to either Kilimajaro International Airport (JRO) or direct to Arusha Air Port. There is another buses option from Dar es salaam to Arusha which takes 8-12 hours, less comfortable, but still an option. Although you can find many other flight providers, KLM, Ethiopian and the Emirates fly to Kilimanjaro Airport.
