What is the best way to get some exposure to my daughter who plays High School basketball.?
If she was a top 50 freshman and AAU teammates are Best of Prep, she’s already on the radar. I’m surprised that she’s not already being buried in bushel baskets full of recruiting mail. If she’s interested in a school, let them know. A short letter with your daughter’s accomplishments attached – like a copy of the top 50 freshman list – will definitely open up the bushel basket of mail. And if there is a school she is definitely interested in, send her to camp there. Nothing will impress a coach more than getting to see your daughter tear it up on the school’s court. And make sure that the schools know that she not only can play ball, but will make it in the classroom as well. With the NCAA push towards greater academic achievement for athletes, let them know that there are no academic issues as well. That will drive her stock even higher.
