What is the best way to get rid of thistle?
Hey inquiring mind, I just read all segjestions before mine. I try to garden organic style and I am fimilar with some medicinal qualities of the dreaded thisle ( you did not mention the climate you were exposed to but thistle can take over in some climates and I know it is also used to aid our liver)…Id try the apple juice first, ask the apple juice folks how long before you see results,if that doesnt work : pulling the plants by hand ( get the roots ) is second on my list( If youre feeling bad about distroying the plants try selling the now ‘harvested’ plants for profit … livers are high on the list for the medicinal uses… plants with no or little exposure to pesticides or herbicides are recommended for that use) Then when all else fails… ’round up’ pretty much kicks butt but do keep in mind that 1) it is a nasty chemical, exposure not recommended for consumable products and 2)hope the shared knowledge helps…. best of luck.
