What is the best way to get from Croatia to Greece?
It depends on what you mean by “best”. The only quick way is to fly. This may be quite expensive, and you may have to start by flying north rather than south from Croatia to make a connection. For example, in summer you may be able to fly from Dubrovnik to Bratislava and then Bratislava to Athens, both with SkyEurope. If you prefer surface transport there are several options (including some that I haven’t listed): 1. If your starting point is Zagreb, it’s quite easy. There is a daily direct train via Belgrade and Skopje to Thessaloniki which has good connections to the rest of Greece. Total travel time is 20 hours. 2. If your starting point is Dubrovnik (a common situation), you could get a bus north to Zagreb (10 hours) and then follow option 1. This is probably the simplest method but is also very indirect.
