Who are your ideal customers? Define them and then work out what their pain is in the current situation. For example, if your typical customers are households, you could make a couple of approaches. One is around the information the householders who want to sell need to put in their HIP’s. The more energy efficient they are, the more attractive their property is to prospective buyers. Anything that helps them sell their property when times are tough has to be welcome. The other approach is to people who don’t want to move because of the financial situation. They’re the ones who need help to improve their properties as they’re committed to staying in them longer. Either take the “don’t move, improve” line or, again, focus on energy efficiency.
