What is the best way to fertilize perennials?

0

Most perennials do not require a lot of fertilizer, but certainly in the spring an application can be done. 10-10-10 or 14-14-14. A time release may take care of it for 30, 60, or 90 days. Water soluble tend to wash thru quicker. And perhaps a second application mid-summer, watered in well.
