What is the best way to deal with trolls?
Trolls thrive on the animosity that they generate with their inflammatory questions. If everyone would totally ignore those questions that are written for the soul reason of invoking emotional responses, they would eventually get tired of playing their silly little games and go somewhere else. When we respond, we are giving them what they want and thereby just adding fuel to the fire. Even when they are reported, they reap a huge amount of satisfaction from knowing that they evoked anger in at least one person. Ignore them totally. Don’t respond to anything they say. Don’t report them. Eventually they will get bored and find something else, hopefully something more productive to do.
