Both of these facilities can set up the multiple lines in a hunt group or dial group. If the connection is made to the corporate PBX then it is important that the PBX have digital T1 trunking to the local exchange or long distance exchange switch. This is necessary to achieve K56flex or V.90 connections. If the connection is made directly to the local exchange carrier switch then K56flex or V.90 connections can be successfully achieved.
