What is the best way to clean my microwave oven?
It is very important that the oven is wiped down after each time it is used. Also importantly, when the cavity is still warm, any food splatters or spillage are easier to remove. Obviously it is advisable to cover food to reduce splashing wherever possible. In the main, most oven cavities only require cleaning with a non abrasive agent and a soft clean cloth. However, combination cooking can lead to heavier staining. If normal cleaning recommendations seem insufficient we suggest applying a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water onto the cavity, leaving for 2/3 hours, then removing with a soft damp cloth.
