…this is what I do: Get liquid Muriatic Acid of the sort that is added to pools and spas. Pour some into the toilet carefully (this stuff can burn). Let it sit for several hours, then flush and then brush. Flush again and repeat as needed. It does an amazing job on really tough toilet dirt, stains and build up. For every day I use one of the “thick” bowl cleaners – squirt some on, scrub lightly, then flush. If you do this every few days you won’t need the Muriatic Acid often or at all.
