We use an algorithm to calculate the Tm, rather than the CG ratio as it gives a more accurate result. The values will be given on the oligo Certificate of Analysis. To calculate the TM, Alta Bioscience uses a similar method to the following link: http://www.PremierBiosoft.com/netprimer.html The following equation is not as accurate but is a suitable substitute.
