What is the best water purification / softner system for a house?
I always provide this disclaimer: my dad worked for the water department here in Miami for many years and he feels filters and water softeners aren’t worth the money. But I’ve read many other expert opinions that disagree with dad. And I know he can be crotchety, so if you feel you need one then go for it. I looked around and the Kinetico systems are the ones mentioned most often by people. They seem to be really satisfied with them. But Water Boss seems to have a loyal following, too. It also has the advantage of being more widely available and probably a little less expensive.
