What is the best veterinary technician college?
That is hard to say. All of them should cover the same basic material if they are American Veterinary Medical Association accredited. And if they are not AVMA accredited you should NOT bother with them as most states require that your degree be from an AVMA accredited program in order to sit for the credentialing exams. There are some schools which do tend to have more student complaints so you should try to talk to veterinary technicians in your area to see what school they attended and if they would choose that program again. The first one that comes to mind as having lots of student complaints is Penn Foster so I would probabaly steer clear of it. As for choosing one, it’s best to select and on-site program if at all possible because then you are assured of having the best hands-on training.
