What is the best vacuum for picking up dog hair?
Get the Dyson. Pricey but worth it. I got mine from Costco a year ago for around 450. I think the newer ones are normally 500-600ish at Target and 500ish at Costco now. Totally worth it. Plus if you buy from Costco they have a great return policy. I decided to take the plunge and hey, if I didn’t like it I would return it. I was immediately hooked. I’ve seen the “Animal” Dyson and I looked it over, but it seems to be pretty much the same as the Dyson at Costco which was cheaper. I think the Dysons tend to work the same (the cyclone suction), so just get the one that’s the most affordable. I think the only difference is an additional attachment (not sure though). Btw, other vacuum companies have their “cyclone” versions but they don’t work the same way as the Dyson. I just want to add I too vacuumed the day before w/ my old vacuum, then used the Dyson. The Dyson picked several handfulls of animal hair my old vacuum didn’t.
