What is the best used car on the market for around £3,000 in UK?
Any ‘NEW’ used car should definitely have it’s rubber cam belt changed as soon as you purchase the vehicle no matter who swears that it has just been done…. get it done anyway by someone you can trust, even then it is preferable to mark the original belt with paint so that you are sure and certain this important job is carried out at a cost about £100, because, if a cam belt fails you will have lost the engine and huge additional cost will be incurred (cost around £1600) for a good re-conditioned engine. I’d go with J G on the vehicle choice. This has happened to me and I had to scrap my car as the cost was way above what I paid for the vehicle.
