What is the best umbrella stroller?
Maclarens are good, but the Chicco Liteway (not the C6– that’s junk) is nearly as good, as is the Graco Ipo. You may also want to look at a Baby Jogger City Mini, which is not technically an umbrella stroller, but folds flat (doesn’t take up too much room) and is really light. Go to BRU or a USA Baby and test drive all the ones you can. Every one has different preferences. If price is no object, you may also consider the Maclaren Techno model– it’s a bit pricier than the Quest, but it’s a little more stable and slightly more plush. Jeeps are just okay– the handlebars really leave something to be desired. If you are tall or have a long stride, you may want something with telescoping handles or an adjustable bar (Macs do not offer this, but many other brands like Baby Jogger, Valco, Inglesina, etc. do).
