It is hard to determine one specific because all fish have different needs but if you want a good all around brand Hikari is very good food as far as nutrition goes. edit: Realized I misread, you can make your own food which is beneficial to the fish. You can add important vitamins and give your fish a more healthy life. I provided a link which gives great directions as to making your own fish food.
