A well balanced kibble is optimum. We use and recommend Eukanuba, Science Diet, Iams, Pedigree Small Bites, Look for a food that is low in calcium and magnesium. These have detrimental affects on giant breed dogs. Also you should look for a food that is between 19 & 23% protein. Too much just passes thru and too little prevents proper growth.
