What is the best treatment for LADA: insulin or tablets?
A There are different opinions about what is the best treatment for LADA, but it is agreed that most people with LADA will eventually need to take insulin. Recent research from Japan suggests that if people with LADA take insulin (even if not dependent on insulin yet), this can greatly help to control changes in blood sugar levels. Other research carried out in China suggests that Glitazone tablets can be beneficial for people with LADA. The best treatment for LADA is not yet known. This is the reason for us asking you to take part in this trial. Through the trial, you will be playing an important role in helping us to assess the effectiveness of different treatments for LADA. The trial’s results will be useful in adding to the evidence around different LADA treatments.
