What is the best treatment for exima?

My eczema recently came back to me again and I had to start from scratch with the moisturising creams. I found E45 helped, just apply it to keep the skin moisturised. If the skin is not too inflamed (Red and scratchy) buy some over the counter hydrochortizone cream and apply this twice a day. If that steroid cream doesn’t make any impact (Give it a week or so) go to the doctor and they may give you a stronger steroid cream, betnovate or fucadin. The main thing is finding a moisturising cream that works for you, I tried aqueous cream (really, really cheap) but it made my hands really itchy, I tried a couple of others as well but I settled on E45, just try and see what works best for you. Vaseline isn’t really a good choice, it’s horrible, sticky and only traps moisture in, it doesn’t really moisturise as such but it’s brilliant as a barrier to protect your skin from water, mild chemicals etc… The best way I found is to find a moisturising cream that works best for you and to keep rubb
