What is the best tourist attraction in the Philippines?
Oh dear this is a tough one. “Best” is relative so it’s hard to give just one answer. If you’re the adventurous type, then the Cagayan de Oro hanging bridges and other adventure destinations are great. If you’re a beach person who loves to party, then no doubt about it, Boracay is the best tourist place for you. You’ll find other fellow tourists there, enjoying the sun during the day, enjoying and partying at night. If you’re a beach person but you go for the beauty of the beach instead of the parties, then Palawan, Bohol and Bantayan Island (Cebu) are for you. Beautiful, serene beaches right there. There’s also the man-made wonders Banawe Rice Terraces and Chocolate Hills. If you love the ocean, there are lots of good dive spots in the Philippines. In Bohol you can do some dolphin and whale watching in the morning. In Donsol you can watch the ‘butandings’. So many, many attractions and the “best” one will really depend on what the person is interested in.
