What is the best time to go Japan?
Tokyo has Akihabara so you might want to go there. Personally I think it depends on which is more important to you, weather or crowds. If you want the best weather and don’t mind huge crowds, I think the spring during cherry blossom season is the best. The weather is usually nice, nit too hot or cold, and you get to see the cherry blossoms. However, you’ll also be fighting huge crowds, especially in cities like Kyoto and Tokyo. If you prefer to avoid huge crowds, winter might actually be a nice time to go. Sure it’s cold, but there aren’t as many tourists — I know that when I went to Kyoto in December the city was practically dead compared to what I have seen there in the spring and summer. I try to avoid crowds whenever possible so that was quite nice for me. Summer is extremely hot, humid, AND crowded, but there are also really interesting festivals going on all the time throughout Japan.
