Flights generally cost more during the time of year you plan on going. Right now Asiana Airlines is offering flights from Seattle to Seoul for $936 r/t total price. I think you could probably do better than $1300, prices between the US and Asia seem to be getting lower than they have been for years, probably due to lower fuel prices and world economic conditions.
