In Louisiana we are blessed with great fishing year round, so your best bet is to plan your trip when the weather is most comfortable for you. My picks for great fishing and great weather are April, May, June, September, October and November. However, I do fish year round and each of the seasons presents a unique opportunity for one species or another.
