What is the best time of year in Marrakech to have my destination wedding?
Each time of year has its advantages. In summer and early fall, the heat feels wonderfully sensuous as you and your guests enjoy dipping into swimming pools, cool gardens, the mountains, and late nights on roof terraces. March and April are considered the most beautiful time with flowers blooming, and perfect temperatures, but still cool at night. The winter months are sunny as you pull a light scarf around your shoulders most days, with nights requiring a coat and the enjoyment of lit fireplaces in many restaurants, riads, and villa hotels. The least favorable time to come to Marrakech for a destination wedding or any special event is during Ramadan when most people are fasting all day and the city gives off a different vibe. We will be sure to inform you if your desired dates coincide with the sacred one month of Ramadan. If you must know what the optimum time of year is: it’s mid-March to mid-May.
