What is the best tile for my bathroom floor?
Everyone has diffferent taste, but keep in mind that the bathroom floor will get wet. Glazed tile should be avoided. Ceramic tile can be purchased with a “matte” finish which will minimize slips. Porcelain can be purchased with a texture that can make a style statement as well as reduce slipping. Natural stone is always very exciting but again try to shy away from the polished stone. Tumbled natural stone may have fissures and voids that will be hard to clean. They must also be sealed prior to and after installation. Most important, purchase a tile that is rated for use on floors.
