What is the best temperature to set my thermostat at?
It has been said that setting your thermostat to 78 in the summer and 68 in the winter is the most efficient, but in all honesty turning the system off is the most efficient, but we aren’t going to do that, what would be the point in having an air conditioner or furnace. The reality is that the cooler you set your thermostat in the summer and warmer in the winter, the more money you are going to spend. Set your thermostat to the temperature that you are comfortable at. Don’t wear shorts in the winter and sweats in the summer, dressing according to the weather will help you feel more comfortable, and keep your bills lower.
